If you were a Broncos fan in the 90s then you will recall the Original Mile High Stadium and its (then) infamous tailgating supporter, The Barrel Man! Cheering on the Denver Broncos at the Original Mile High Stadium Along with The Barrel Man The owner, Kate Smith, was a strong supporter of local talent and ran a rooming house on the upper floors for students, artists and bohos who were starting to populate Wicker Park in the 1990s. The bar opened in the mid-1960s and was considered a “no-frills bar”, and a local hangout, that remained the same for decades. The Bop Shop, Division + Wood, a great jazz club with some rock bands and improv comedy thrown into the mix. There are sliding glass doors on one side.
